Northwind Studio CMS

The back of the house: pages, services, team, FAQs, articles, navigation, settings — and the approved answers the site's AI assistant is allowed to give.

Sanity Studio editing an AI Knowledge entry: the visitor question, the approved answer the business wrote, and a list of other ways people ask the same thing. Entries show as approved or draft.
Sanity Studio editing a service: title, slug, short summary, image and starting price, with the content types listed down the left.

The problem

A site nobody can update is a site that goes stale. This is the content model behind a small-business website, shaped around how an owner actually thinks about their site rather than around database tables.

The thinking

A structured content model with references and validation, a desk organised by how often things change, media and rich-text fields, and an AI knowledge type with a draft/approved status so the business controls what the assistant may say.

A content studio with a left sidebar listing pages, services, team, FAQs, articles, AI knowledge, navigation and site settings, and a site-settings form holding business name, tagline, logo upload, phone, email and address, with published and draft tabs above and a publish action below.
Editors get named fields, not a page builder — the schema is the guardrail, and draft-versus-published is a state on the document.

The system

Every build ships with the content system, not just the front end. The AI knowledge entries are modelled as approved content rather than prompt text — the business writes the answer and approves it, and nothing unapproved is reachable.

What it proves

A structured content model with references and validation, a desk organised by how often things change, media and rich-text fields, and an AI knowledge type with a draft/approved status so the business controls what the assistant may say..

What this is

Our own demo CMS, built on Sanity. Northwind Studio is an invented business — the content, people and prices are all fictional.
